Ice Bats can’t believe their eyes

No one is quite sure how or why but someone went out and built a broomball team (while forgetting to supply the team with a broomball or enough broom sticks) so pathetic that they lost 10 nothing to the Ice Bats tonight. The team was supposedly named the Love Brokers but the Bats decided to call them the Ice Pimps.

The Ice Bats found offense came so easily that no one who was reasonably sound physically and mentally was left out of the scoring. But the Bats felt little excitement in the end because it came to easy.

To add to the humiliation of the Ice Pimps Boomer Antila was hoisted over the boards for the first time in over three seasons for a quick shift.

Six times the opposition got close enough to goalie Ross Hedin that he had to put down his newspaper but he was able to preserve the shutout.

In post game remarks the Bats were heard to say that they were glad Steve Loos had spoken up last week about management's lackadaisical attitude and it had helped this weeks effort though little effort was needed against this team.

Comments:
Broomball stick that you end up giving away...... $20
Pair of goofy shoes worn only 5 nights a year.... $70
An equal ownership share of the IceBats... Priceless

Speaking of prices of things – how much will cost to get Paul Wolfram and his Reformation Brass band to play at this year’s Ice Bat banquet?

Unknown but the Ice Bat Reformation Brass Challenge Grant competition starts this weekend.

Reformation Brass is not for sale.

well it's a good thing then we were only interested in hiring them for a limited period of time to give a musical performance. not purchasing them as personal slaves.

but Lord you are the kinky one mr. wolframheimer.
