The Ice Bats were not entertained
Whitey Wolfram's inability to perform due to injury has continued into the off-season. Whitey had been commissioned by IB Media Services and IB Equipment Services to serenade the Bats on his trumpet but Whitey’s injury woes left him with to weak to play.

IB Media Services announced that Ross Hedin was named Dave's Ice Bat Net Minder of the Year. There was little question here all though Hedin missed two games he play well in the opening loss against the Firemen and recorded a shutout against the Ice Pimps.

Mike Shepard was named Bud's Ice Bat Red Line Player of the Year for consistently grading out as the best Ice Bat defenseman over the season. Repeatedly frustrating the opposition even when left home alone.

Bradley Nielsen was named Jimmy's Ice Bat Blue Line Player of the Year who showed unquestionably during the 2005 season he was the best combination of play maker, shooter, and scorer over the Ice Bat’s four game season.

After the forfeit the Ice Bats scrimmaged the short-handed colliers squad to get some practice in for next season.

Practicing well not sure what

for the second year in a row the colliers team could not muster a regulation squad to play the Bats. Which let to the Ice Bats awarded a 2 to zero win and a three game winning steak leading to a 3 to 2 overall season record. If only they were all honest wins.

And giving the Bats plenty of time to argue about what to watch on tv.

The Ice Bat's have a shot at what would be their first winning season if they beat Collier's in the final game of the season.
