Enemies Under his Feet 1Cor 15:25-27

We may have some enemies in this world, but here are a few that is our greatest.

  1. Sin
  2. Ro 6:11-13 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

    Sin is a great enemy!

  3. Ourselves (Minds)

Ac 24:24-25 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

  1. Belief (lack of)
  2. Faith ( I can believe but not hat faith)
  3. Lu 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

  4. Self control
  1. Of our Emotions
  2. Our Tempers
  3. Our Lives

1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

3. Our body's (sickness)

4. Pleasures of this life. (only when it come between us and God)

Lu 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5. Satan

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Lu 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

6. Death (v.26) (We fear death)

Do whatever it takes not to dye.
