The Virgin Born Savior Luke 1:26-38.

Christianity has claims that no other religious group in the world has to offer.

A very basic claim is that our Savior was born of a virgin woman named Mary.

Mary was favored and blessed by the Lord.

Joseph and Mary were espoused or engaged.

She was a special woman but we find in the Bible that she need a Savior.

Lu 1:46,47 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

You do not worship people who need a Savior.

Several things about the virgin birth of Christ:

1. It is mandatory. (Jesus to be born pure)

2. It is miraculous.

3. It is meaningful.

Christianity takes on a special meaning and significance because of it.

Lu 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
