Are we living a life prepared to for the Lords coming?

2. THE TEN VIRGINS (CH. 25)

There were two phases to a Jewish Wedding

The bridegroom went to the bride's home to obtain his bride.

Then he took his bride to his own home for festivities.

(V. 1) Notice they all took Lamps -- The Light of Christ inside us.

Five were wise and Five were Foolish. (24:45-51)

No oil in there lamps -- ( Holy Spirit ) (v.3)

3. Wise took oil in their lamps. (v.4)

4. (v.5) They all Slumberd and Slept. -- we all have time like this.

Mr 14:37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

5. Notice when the Bridegroom Came! (v.6)

Mt 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

6. They ALL arose and Trimmed their Lamps. ( v. 7) (To Clean the wicks)

7. Notice no Oil (v.8) -- Not Ready

8. (v.9) You have to get it yourselves. Not from someone else.

9. The Bridegroom came. (v.10)

They that were READY!
