As I had never had a dog before Pearl, I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. I remember the first day we brought this little ball of energy home, my husband and I just looked at each other and said "I hope we did the right thing." As you can probably tell by now, the answer to that question was a no brainer but throughout the years, there have been in ups and downs in the training and health departnment. Over all, Pearl is healthy, but like any other other living creature, she's had a few health problems.
