Stella McArtor

EDGEWOOD - Stella A. (Wisnowski) McArtor, 75, of Edgewood, formerly of St. Elmo, died at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 1994, at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, with burial in Brown Cemetery, rural Edgewood. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Care center. Mrs. McArtor was born July 26, 1918, in Chicago, the daughter of Joseph and Antoinette (Jokobowski) Wisnowski. She married Howard McArtor in 1934 in Edgewood. He died in 1988. She was a nurse's aid at Lincoln (Ill.) State School and Heritage Home, St. Elmo and a member of Edgewood Christian Church.

Surviving are her son, Gerald of Hollywood, Florida; daughter, Mrs. Ray (Diane) Scoles of Edgewood; sisters, Helen Pindell and Sophie Micetich, both of Chicago; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one sister.
