CAMP APPLICATION PROCESS

The regular fee for the camp would be $535, however, with underwriting from the State of Utah Governor’s Office, up to fourteen qualified Utah students and teachers will receive a scholarship that will cover all but $75 of the camp fee. Transportation to the Field Camp on the first day and from Arches National Park on the last day is not included. The camp is open to high school students and 7 th through 12 th grade teachers, although exceptions may be made if a strong case can be made for a mature middle school student or other educator.

To apply, please submit the following information in short narrative or point form via email to info@plateaurestoration.org (“Science Camp Application” in subject box), by fax (435-259-7733 / 1-866-202-1847), or by mail to: Plateau Restoration, 3170 Rimrock Rd, Moab UT.

Decisions on applications will be processed as soon as we get them so this process is not competitive and early applicants are favored. Applicants will be promptly notified of acceptance upon which a payment of $75 must be received by us to complete the admission. If applying by mail, please also send a check or money order for $75, made out to Plateau Restoration, or authorized Visa or Mastercard number and expiration date to avoid delays in completing the application. If you are not able to receive a scholarship, the credit card will not be charged and any funds submitted will be returned in full.
