The Essential Roy Orbison In Stores March 28

Legacy Recordings will release The Essential Roy Orbison on March 28. It will be the first career-spanning collection of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend and Traveling Wilbury.

The two-CD collection will include songs from his early years at Sun Records, legendary tracks from the Monument years, underrated cuts from his prolific MGM catalog, and his last recordings for Virgin.

It is part of a Legacy's ambitious two-year project to release virtually all of Orbison's recordings from his career.

While no collection can capture the enormity of his talent or the scope of his great recordings, it is at least a good start for the casual fan.
