Discipline Policy for Faith Formation Grades 7-10

The discipline policy for our St. Pius V Faith Formation program is simple: All students have a right to expect an atmosphere conducive to their learning and spiritual development. We will foster this environment with the generous work of volunteer catechists and supportive parents. Hence, students are expected to be respectful, modest, prompt, orderly and attentive to their classroom studies and extra-curricular activities.
If a student is not able to abide by the above stated common courtesies, they will be given a warning. The next incident and the student will be sent to the Coordinator’s Office. There the student will discuss the problem with the Coordinator with the expectation that the problem will be corrected and they will be sent back to class. Third time and the student will be sent to the Coordinator’s office and student will call parents for them to pick them up from class. Parents are welcome to be present in their child’s classroom and to talk to the catechists and the Coordinator outside of class about concerns and questions they may have about their children. Sincerely,
