I left Bristol in Feb.1961, came back to Georgia and resumed my old job with the
Georgia Department of Transportation.   In July of 1963, I moved my wife and
two boys to Jacksonville, Florida and enrolled in Seminary. It took me a long
time, but I finally received my Dr. of Ministry, graduating with my third degree in
1981. I’ve been pastoring Baptist Churches since 1975 and have also continued
working a full time job.  I retired from the state in 1990 and have worked doing
consulating engineering since then.  I am still working full time with Florence &
Hutcheson Consulting.  I’ve just celebrated my 69th birthday in June of this year.
Been married to my high school sweetheart for 47 years. We have three boys
and (three girls we raised) with a total of 11 grandchildren. Life has been good to
us.  I have had a few heart problems over the last 25 years, having a triple and
then a quadruple bypass surgery.  As of now, I’m in good health and staying
busy. May just make it to 100!

I’ve really enjoyed getting reacquainted with you guys.  It would be nice if
someday we could all get together and reminisce about old times.
