"I can eat"-mds

This is a small site dedicated to the memory of  Mark Schoonmaker.  None of us could ever forget him.  He was a very unique person.  I have many memories of Mark.  Memories that I do not want to forget, so I will put them here.  I believe he would like the idea of a web site.  I will be adding more and more pictures and video, so keep coming back to look for updates.

High School and College Years

I first meet Mark in English class in the 11th Grade at Valley Central High School.  He was shy at first and did not say much.  He always wore these Raceway Park drag racing tee-shirts, so I knew he could not be all that bad.  In twelfth grade we had study hall together and were assigned the same table. In 12th grade many of us took film study. My partner was Billy Ruger on this project. Bill did most of the work, including writing the script.  Mark an his AMC AMX were a major part of it, until he took the plates on for the winter. We had to re-shoot all the scenes in which the AMX was in.  Soon I will have clips of Mark's bloopers available online.  During our senior year we became the best of friends.  Mark convinced me to take Computer Science in college. We both majored in Computer Science and went to OCCC.   Looking back, Mark was clearly to most influential person on my life.
