Show Low became the 5th City in the State of Arizona and one of over 170 cities in the United States to be a Character First City. This is a joint effort between the Show Low Chamber of Commerce and the City of Show Low to help guide our community through the challenges of the future. We have a Character Council of 23 community leaders and through the course of the next four years, we will introduce 49 Character Traits that can make a difference (when implemented) in your government, in your business, and in the community (schools, home, and place of worship). Through this program, crime has been shown to be curtailed, businesses have become more successful and we can strive as individuals to become better people. Each month we will hold community training for Character First. We know that many small businesses cannot do the training themselves so we will help you by making it available in one place. Be a part of the success of Character First!, and thereby the lives of the people living in our community, and of those yet to come.
