The barrel is a Green Mountain 1-14 twist that started out at an inch and one eight across the flats. It ended up as a 28 inch long barrel half octagon/round with a "Wedding Ring" at the transition point. The barrel did not have a Sharps tulip but does now and looks great. The rifle weighs in an 11 pounds 8 onces. Tom at "Lock, Stock & Barrel" in Franklin, TN did a fantastic job. I am looking forward to shooting it.
