Our molds are made to exacting standards to ensure mirror-smooth finishes, warp-free
surfaces and long-term production life. All molds are made with tooling gelcoats,
vinyl ester resins, mat, cloth, coremat, e-glass, and x-glass (or as specified by the
customer). After the molds are finished, we glass a strong welded metal structure to the
bottom of the mold to ensure long-term mold stability and to aid in handling. We have built
many molds, ranging from 30" RC boats to 41' deck boats.
The following pictures are of a new deck mold for a 28' deckboat.
