I thought this would be a good time to tell you a little bit about me and how I got into creating my own line of body care products. Plus this would be a good opportunity to share my credentials with you. While Faery Dustings does seem like a fancy and footloose free kind of work for me. (or as I like to say love, kind of love for me) I do truly take it seriously. Healing is a true passion for me and I have researched, read and experimented empirically for many years on holistic ways of healing.
To me holistic means that we look at the big picture in the scheme of things, which does not leave modern medicine out but it certainly does not make it the only option. I also feel that in this world of pain and suffering there was and is a need to create a way of healing that truly touches the depths of our soul including the innocence of our inner child.On one hand fairies to me represent that innocence, freedom and whimsy, yet on another they are these beautiful little guides that say open your heart and let me in, trust the process and more importantly trust yourself, but know that I am here, we are here if you just quiet your mind, and listen.
My path of spirituality has taken me quite far, when I started this business it was about healing the external part of our being, concentrating mostly on our body parts physically.Which of course that is how I came up with the idea of body care products made with all natural ingredients free of synthetics and chemicals and just about as natural as can be. That was back in 2001, shortly after September 11 when my need to make a difference and certainly start the healing process for this world forcefully came forward.Little did I know that while I was busy working on the external healing not only of myself but of the world as well,that where the work really needed to happen was inside.Slowly, I learned who I was, where I came from and where I was going. I owe many thanks to friends and family who have stuck by me through everything, supporting me and most importantly believing in me when I almost stopped believing in myself.
Today, I have realized that I am exactly where I need to be, I have learned to trust myself and more importantly trust the process of life. Whether it is through the guidance of fairies, or angels, or some kind of divine force I cannot explain. I understand my purpose, my line of love to share what I have learned that has brought me to where I am today.Everything I do comes from my heart. I understand that in order for us to truly find peace we need to start with ourselves. We need to stop hurting ourselves and start loving ourselves. There are many ways that we can do this,but we can start by opening our minds and hearts to that possibility.Trust yourself and trust the process.
In closing I would like to bring to your attention, that the other day, as I was journaling something hit me like the clarity of a pool of sparkling blue water. Perhaps my love for fairies goes back to my memories of child hood fairy tales when the fairy god mother would come down and grant wishes to those in need. Then it dawned on me " I am in the line of love of granting wishes, making dreams come true"by working with individuals to improve the quality of their lives. Maybe that has been my connection to faery all along. Blessings on your journey of self-discovery!
