Nestled in  Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission is a government agency that provides safe public parks and year round recreational activities for the youth in our community. We are responsible for operating a variety of parks facilities within Jefferson County that include picnic pavilions, walking trails, playgrounds and athletic fields. Recreation programs include summer camps, special events, and a variety of other athletics.

2006 Fall Programs 

JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER -Grand Opening- SEPTEMBER 16, 2006 from 11:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m.   Join us for our Grand Opening!!  Come out and take a tour of our brand new facility and enjoy a variety of activities that include a moon bounce, FREE sampling of our dance, gymnastics, karate and scrap booking classes, and MORE!!  PLUS...Food, Free Gifts, Door Prizes and Special Events.   The first 100 people will receive a T-shirt to commemorate the opening
