General Notes: This information was obtained from Ruth Kriesel great ganddaughter of Robert Brown, son of Andrew Brown. "death of Martha noted as dropsy" The Uxbridge Journal reported on Jan 31, 1901 as follows: "At Altona, Mrs. Andrew Brown, after a long andpainful illness, passed away on Thursday, Jan.23, age 58 years. The funeral on Saturday was large, with service in the Dutch church conducted by Rev. H. Rayner, assisted by Mr. Hoover". The Dutch church was the Altona Mennonite Church.
