As I have traveled through the department of
education at St. Bonaventure, my enjoyment of teaching has increased. I
always knew that I had the patience and the ability to work well with children.
I chose to become an elementary education major because of that. But
now that I have been in classrooms and been a part of classrooms, teaching is
no longer something that just makes sense for me to do. Teaching is a passion
for me. I thoroughly enjoy being in front of a classroom. My
student teaching experiences were amazing and I did not want them to end.
I honestly felt so fulfilled after a day teaching. Teaching completely
brightened my outlook on life. There I was making a difference in
students lives. People always remember special teachers that inspired
them, no matter what grade they had them in. I want to be that teacher
that leave a positive look on life to my students.
As a
student teacher I really enjoyed being able to teach and plan the lessons
each day. When I'm teaching my students are the only ones on my mind.
If I fail in my teaching, they too will fail. Teaching is a big
responsibility, but it is a responsibility that I want to take on.
Here are some evaluation done by my student teaching supervisor and my
cooperating teacher. Please feel free to look at their opinions of my
teaching.
