Here are my favorite video games.  These are coin-op games, that have been ported to game consoles.  (But not to PC, unfortunately.)

To play these games, you either need a game console, (i.e. PlayStation, X-Box) or a special emulator that can run console games on a PC.

p. s. The "Click Here" areas have not been linked yet.

Hydro Thunder - A 3-D arcade-style boat racing game.  When I first played the coin-op version at the pizza place, the graphics, boomy sound effects, and force-feedback chair and wheel made for an experience I'll never forget.

Unfortunately, the Website for this game is no longer running, and the game is no longer being sold.  To see a description or to buy a used console version, click here.

Arctic Thunder - The successor to Hydro Thunder.  Everything that Hydro Thunder was, only the boats are replaced by snowmobiles.  The coin-op version has a fan that blows air on your face.

Smashing Drive - Your job as a taxi driver is to deliver your passenger(s) to their destination as quickly as possible, taking shortcuts, blowing up cars in your way, and trying to stay in one piece.

Starblade - A 3-D space shooter game.  Unlike most space shooters, the game controls the ship, while you aim the gun reticule.

This game is fairly old now (it was originally released in 1995).  The coin-op version used a mirror system to get a large screen that immersed you among the asteroids, and enemy ships.  The coin-op version's seat would shake quite good if your ship ran into an asteroid or was blown up.  While the graphics are quite out of date, this was one of the first arcade games I ever played.

Because this game is so old, it is quite hard to find even a used copy.  Do a search on ebay for "Starblade."
