Nathaniel IV was voted in by the General Assembly as one of the judges in special courts held at Westminister, VT."    "He received a vote of thanks for his valuable services at the time of the massacre at Westminister March 13, 1775."    He came to Westminister about 1772 and was buried in the old graveyard near Eatonplace, his home."
