Our Commission

We believe an immortal soul is beyond all price.  There is no trouble too great, no humiliation too deep, no suffering too severe, no love too strong, no labor too hard, no expense to large, but IT IS WORTH IT, if it is spent in the effort to win a soul.

No man who ever had a glimpse of hell would ever want a fellow human being to go there.  Psalm 2:8 says, "Ask of me, and I shall give the the heathen for thine inheritance."  There is no greater reward for a church than to lead a soul into the kingdom.

 

 

 

What We Believe

 

Our God is one true God manifested in three (3) persons, the Father, Jesus said, The Father is greater than I" (John 14:28): the Son, Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father, (John 1:14 and 18_: and the Holy Ghost, who proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son, (John 15:26).

We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ and that His blood is the only remedy for sin (Hebrew 9:22).  Although man was created in the image of God, sinless and pure, direct from the hand of God (Genesis 1:26-27), sin entered in through the fall of man in the garden (Genesis 3:1-6), separating us from God.  Now, the only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (John 14:6).  We need to come with a heart of repentance and be born again (John 3:3-6) and accept the free gift of salvation, through faith, that God had made available to all of us.  The Bible says in Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

We believe in and practice the following scriptural based activities:

Water Baptism - is for the converted believers who have turned from their sins and the love of the world (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit - is a divine action upon a regenerated believer, consisting in the believer's reception of the Holy Spirit, and manifested by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4, 1:8).  This experience is available to every born-again believer.

The Lord's Supper - instituted by Christ Himself, He enjoins all Christian believers to observe this sacrament until He comes again (I Corinthians 11:23-26).

Feet Washing - this practice was observed by Jesus and His disciples (John 13:14).

Divine Healing - is the atonement made by Christ which provides for the healing of human physical illnesses, (Isaiah 53:5, I Peter 2:24) through the prayer of faith (James 5:15) by anointing with oil (James 5:14) and laying on of hands (Mark 16:18).

If you have not received that gift of eternal life with Him, then pray this short prayer to the One who gave us victory over death through Jesus Christ.

I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.  I believe that Jesus died for my sins.  I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and live as my personal Savior.  I will confess you before men, study your Word and live according to your will as you guide me.  Thank you for sending Jesus so that I might have eternal life.

Your Word says in Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the hearth man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth Confession is made unto salvation.
