The Story
The story is just now being looked at. Here is a rough idea as of right now.
Leokadia Rigwalska was from Poland. She went to Germany during WWII and met someone named Jan / Johann. In 1943, out of wedlock, she had a son by him (Dieter) in the town of Malchow. She returned to Poland when the child was an infant. She was in the village of Opalenie (south of Gniew on the Wisla (Vistula) River. From there today's Rigwalski family, centered around Gniew, originated. Dieter, his wife Władysława Domachowska, and their youngest son, Dariusz reside in Gniew. Other children (Henryk, Wioletta, Sławomir, Justyna, and Adam) reside in the region - as far as I know. Leokadia died in 2000.
What is interesting, is that Opalenie is located near the villages where Frank Rygwalski and his parents were supposed to be from.
