Volunteer Opportunities Available

Preserving and sharing Vernon County's heritage is the goal of the Vernon County Historical Society.  We need enthusiastic people to assist us in many different ways.  Opportunities at the Vernon County Museum (410 S. Center St.) include but are not limited to
            researching historical topics
            giving tours for school groups
            organizing files
            cleaning the museum.

Other volunteer opportunities include           
            giving tours at the Sherry-Butt House (795 N. Main St.)
            serving on the Capital Campaign Committee
                                    Membership Committee
                                    Parade Committee
                                    Program Committee
                                    Tour of Homes Committee
            helping with special events, such as the Strawberry Shortcake Social
            acting a part in the Cemetery Walk
            staffing the booth at the County Fair.
