Oneida County New York Family Line
We know this family line was part of the Palatine emigrations of 1709. I do not have all the Palatine lines straighten out, there is a lot of confusion in these lines and there are no clear answers. For more information on these lines consult the book "The Palatine Families of New York" and "More Palatine Families" both books are by Henry Z. Jones, Jr. There are other books out there that are not as well researched and may mislead. The Palatine lines I have are listed are: 1.Herkimer County New York Family Line; 2.Hoch-Weisel Germany Family Line; 3.Oneida County New York Family Line; 4.Runkel an Lahn Germany Family Line. Many of the Palatine descendants now have the surname of DAMUTH. Researchers: Joy T. Jaeger jjaeger@web-ster.com Web pages:
Phillips County Kansas Family Line
Not much is known about this line, we think that it will tie into another line when more information is obtained. Edward Henry DEMUTH is the first known ancestor from this line. Edward was born in circa 1887 in IA. He married Rosa Bell GRAHAM. They had had at least three children John, Dale and Robert DEMUTH. This family and it descendants still live in Logan and Phillips Counties, KS. Surnames associated with this line are; GILBERT and SAX. Researchers: Web pages:
Quebec Canada Family Line
Theodore DeMUTH is the first known ancestor of this line. It is said the Theodore was born in St. Joseph, DeLevis District, Quebec, Canada. It is also said that Theodore lived in Danbury Connecticut where he was known to be a hat maker in 1871. He patented a hat making process. There are still DeMuth's living in the NorthEast and Ohio that are descendants of Theodore. Surnames associated with this line are; DEZENDORF, FLYNN, HEINZ and RUSSELL. This line may well be linked to the Rinteln, Hessian Family Line but no proof has been established. Researchers: Ann Russell DeMuth, 308 High St. Apt. 3, Fairport Harbor, OH 44077-5850 Web pages:
