TEACHERS
- Over seventeen of our teachers (more teachers than any middle school in the county) have participated in the Spalding Reading Training, one of the best reading methods courses.
- We received support to introduce the Investigating and Evaluating Environmental Issues program to our environmental teachers from a University of Florida professor.
- Charlene Garrett, Reading Specialist, was nominated as the Communities in Schools' 1998 Teacher of the Year
- Our school developed and implemented our own version of Harry Wong's First Days Procedures Program which is being used as a model for other middle schools.
- The School to Home communication has increased with the monthly Dolphin Splash.
