INTASC Standard #7: The teacher plans instruction based upon knowledge of subject matter, students, the community, and curriculum goals. During my Field Block II placement I did a unit on healthy living. It was a lot of fun. We learned about exercise, dental health, bike safety and the food pyramid. I taught a unit based on the book From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg. It was a unit both myself and my students enjoyed. |
