Q: Who the heck are John & Karen anyway?
That's a pretty broad question to ask, but we'll give it a shot.
John & Karen Mack are a couple living in Clear Lake, Minnesota -- about an hour northwest of the Twin Cities. We're pretty much joined at the hip and share most of the same interests. We're not world travelers by any means, but we try our best to explore our surroundings and enjoy outdoor recreation as much as possible.
Q: OK. So you live in Minnesota and like to do stuff outside. What kind of outdoor stuff do you like?
In the summer months we like boating, fishing, swimming, riding jet-skis, hiking, and camping. We like riding ATVs in the spring & fall months, and the winter months are all about snowmobiling. We're not much into hunting or ice fishing though, oddly enough.
Q: Yeah, that is odd, for Minnesotans. What else can you tell me about yourselves that might keep me from heading to another page?
Well, we have photos of friends & family on this website, and there's a pretty good chance that you fall into one of those two categories. You might want to scour the entire site to see how many of your embarrassing photos have already been posted. That should keep you busy for awhile.
Q: Dang! I had better start clicking then. Anything else you can tell me about yourselves before I hack into your website and remove my photos?
Not really. Although posting a list of favorite TV shows, food, sports, music, etc. was an idea that lasted a nanosecond or two, we decided against it due to its dangerously high gag-factor. The Photo Gallery is really the best place to learn about who we are, where we're from & where we've been. As we mentioned earlier, you'll also learn who our friends & family are. DISCLAIMER: We must emphasize that the Friends & Family links will ALWAYS be under construction, lest we offend anyone who thought they were our friend -- or relative.
Oh, and when you're done removing your embarrassing photos, would
you mind touching up our logo while you're at it? It looks a
little blotchy around some of the letters. Thanks!
