Dedicated to the memory of Golf master teacher Mike Kennedy, The Mike Kennedy Angola Classic perpetuates his philosophy of unsolicited advice and criticism when you need it least.

Dan, who played his first game only four years prior under the tutelage and guidance of Mike, won the very first Tournament held in 2004 at the exclusive Grandview Golf Course with a score of 42.

An award ceremony followed with Dan writing in his name on the “PJ Golf Rag” currently on display at the Timmon’s palatial Angola estate.

The 2005 Mike Kennedy Angola Classic will again be held at the Grandview Golf course. Date to be determined. Your all on notice... I will defend my championship!
