Cemetery Lots
The charge for each grave is $600.00, plus the charge for opening and closing.  Each grave is 4 feet x 12 feet.  A full lot of 5 graves is 20 feet X 12 feet.  The cost of a full lot of five graves is $3000.00

A vault is required for each burial box.

In the case of Cremation, ashes must be placed in an urn and then in a cremation vault in the grave site.

Monuments/Markers
  1. Placing of headstones or footstones must be coordinated through the Business Administrator at the Parish office (507-263-2578).

  2. The company setting the stone (whether it is head stone or foot stone) must contact the parish office at least one week in advance of setting the stone.  Authorized person will then mark the placement of the stone on the grave.

    Headstones cannot be more than 42 inches in height for two graves.  Headstones for a single lot cannot be more than 28 inches in height.
    Footstones or military markers must be flat with the ground.
    A four-inch concrete lip must be around each stone.
    A pipe for a plant stand must be embedded in an 8" concrete pad flush with concrete footing.
    All monuments or markers will be on the top (head) of the grave (west side).
    All footstones or military markers must be flat and at the foot (bottom) of the grave (east side).
    Removal of stones is permitted only with the permission of the Cemetery Board and Pastor.

  3. Planting of any trees, shrubs, flowers on the Cemetery Grounds is strictly prohibited.

  4. All flowers and plants MUST BE IN AN URN IN A PLANT STAND on the side of the headstone.  Artificial flowers are allowed as long as they are in plant stands and they do not become unsightly.  No bouquet of artificial arrangements are to be staked into the grave.  Not allowed also are the placing of flower boxes, toys and other miscellaneous items, and if so placed will be removed.

    The Cemetery Board reserves the right to remove any decorations that become unsightly, unsafe or fail to comply with the Cemetery rules.
