Summer Projects for Youth
We Need Your Help!
Our youth in grades 6-12 have been participating in three ongoing projects througout the summer for those in need.

They are collecting nonparishable food items for the Cannon Falls Food shelf and also items for the birthday box drive.  This includes cake mixes, canned frosting, packages of balloons, birthday candles and small toys. These will be given for children whose parents are in need.

They are hoping to reach 100 lbs of food by Sept. 1, 2014. Stop by the front entrance of the church to see the latest amount. Please help them reach their goal!

Collection baskets are at church entrances.  Any donated item can be placed in any of the baskets and the youth will sort them out.

The clothing drive has ended for the summer. Thanks to all who gave so generously!

What Are You Doing This Summer?
Check out Catholic Youth Camp!
Catholic Youth Camp is Minnesota's only Catholic resident camp offering programing for youth ages 7-17 years of age.  "Our community allows each camper to experience a sense of belonging, while our intentional program teaches life and social skills, and children go home more confident in themselves and their faith.

Catholic Youth Camp is located on Big Sandy Lake at McGregor, MN. Bus transportation to the camp from the twin cities is now available.  (The bus stops in Roseville and Cambridge.)

Camp activities include archery, arts & crafts, campfires, canoeing & kayaking, weekly Mass & daily prayer, creative writing, dance, drama, fishing, group games, ministry themed activities, outdoor skills, slingshot, sports, swimming, throwing, tomahawk and nature.

Each session begins on Sunday and ends on Friday and has its own theme and particular age group.

Go to their website at www.cycamp.org for information on how to register, cost, sessions and themes.
