Greeters
All weekend Masses have greeters. They make our people feel welcome as they greet them prior to Mass. The whole family can participate in this ministry. The greeters usually are the gift bearers at Offertory as well. Contact Brad Lorentz, our Mass Ministries coordinator to volunteer (507-263-4932).
Mass Servers
Servers assist at weekend Liturgies, Funeral Masses and for special occasions. Children must be in grade 5 or older to become a Mass server. Adults are also welcome. Training is provided. Grade 5 students will be notified when training is available. Please call Debbie Bauerin the Faith Formation Office at 507-263-4680 or email to spvff@frontier.com if interested.

If you are interested in joining the Music Ministry in voice, instrument or piano/organ, please call the music director, Sue Franke-Clark at 507-263-2578 or email to Franke.Sue@gmail.com.
Faith Formation & Childrens Liturgy of the Word
We are in need of catechists to teach Faith Formation during the school year. We usually need two catechists per grade for preschool through grade 10. Preschool-grade 6 meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM and grades 7-10 meet from 7:15-8:30 PM in the lower level. All materials are provided. We also need substitutes that can step in from time to time if a catechist is ill or out of town.

Childrens Liturgy of the Word meets during the readings and Homily at the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass in the lower level from September-May. We ask that the volunteers sign up for one Sunday a month--for example the first Sunday of every month. Children's Liturgy is for children age 3 through grade 1. Here the Liturgy leader reads a much simpler gospel reading that the children can understand and then they fill out an activity sheet. The children return to Mass upstairs during the collection.

Children of catechists have their Faith Formation fee waived.

If you have questions or would like to participate in our Faith Formation Ministry, please contact our Faith Formation coordinator, Debbie Bauer at 507-263-4680 or email to spvff@frontier.com.
