Lower Level Kitchen/Dining Facilities |
The lower level of St. Pius V is home to many of our social functions some of which include: Fall Festival Dinner, Youth Formation Night Dinner, KC Breakfast, Youth Fundraiser Breakfast, Welcoming Breakfast, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Commencement Breakfast, First Eucharist Retreat, First Reconciliation Retreat, Women's Deanery, Women's Spring Salad Luncheon and other special events throughout the year. For weddings or funerals please contact the parish office at 507-263-2578. For outside groups that would like to rent the facilities for a function, please call the parish office at 507-263-2578 to inquire about availability and cost. |
Food Safety Requirements in the Kitchen |
For food safety reasons, (as referenced on the Minnesota Department of Health website concerning the "Church Lady Law") we ask that anyone who helps cook, serve and clean up first watch a 15 minute video from the University of Minnesota Extension Office called Cooking Safely for a Crowd. Printouts are also available from the website. Click here to go to the Extenstion Office website. There is also a food safety manual in the lower level kitchen. If you have questions concerning food safety issues, please contact Cindy Meyers who is our Certified Food Safety Manager or Mary Lorentz who has completed training in Cooking Safely for a Crowd at 507-263-4680. |
